Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the website at https://www.precious.cmcet.com or booking any service at Precious African Braid / Precious Us (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our site or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Precious Us offers professional African braiding services (Box Braids, Knotless Braids, Cornrows, Dreadlocks, and more) and sells Precious Glow skincare products. Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.

2. Appointments & Bookings
  • Online bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed via email or WhatsApp notification.
  • Deposits: A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Deposits are credited toward your total service cost.
  • Cancellation policy: We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit.
  • Late arrivals: Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you.
  • Walk-ins are welcome subject to stylist availability.
3. Pricing & Payments
  • All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
  • Applicable taxes will be added at checkout where required.
  • We accept payment via Stripe (credit/debit card), PayPal, and cash at the salon.
  • Online payments are processed securely by Stripe or PayPal. We do not store your card information.
4. Skincare Product Orders
  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation.
  • Free shipping is available on orders over $50. Standard shipping rates apply to smaller orders.
  • Product images are for illustration purposes; slight color variations may occur.
  • All sales of skincare products are final unless the product arrives damaged or defective.
5. Returns & Refunds
  • Salon services: We do not offer refunds for completed services. If you are unsatisfied, please notify us within 48 hours and we will make reasonable efforts to remedy the issue.
  • Products — damaged/defective: Contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos. We will provide a replacement or full refund at our discretion.
  • Products — change of mind: We do not accept returns of opened skincare products for hygiene reasons. Unopened products may be returned within 14 days in original packaging for store credit.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
6. Loyalty Program

Points earned through our Loyalty Program have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may expire after 365 days of account inactivity. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Loyalty Program at any time with reasonable notice.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Engage in conduct that is abusive, threatening, or harassing toward our staff.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access to anyone who violates these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and branding — is the property of Precious Us and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Precious Us shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prince George’s County, Maryland.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
